  • What does "Lunita" mean?

    "Lunita" is the Spanish word for little moon 🌜, a name inspired by the Latin word lucere, meaning "to shine." Just like the moon lights up the night sky, Lunita Planners is here to help you shine and guide you toward your goals with grace and ease.

  • Who is Lunita? 🙋🏽‍♀️

    Meet Linda "Lunita," a Colombian-born visual artist, stationery lover, and the creative force behind Lunita Planners. From a young age, her dad affectionately called her "Linda Lunita" (which means "Pretty Little Moon"), a nickname she’s embraced throughout her life and now in her business.

  • Shaping the way...

    After earning her degree in graphic design and running a print shop with her husband for 10 years, Lunita faced a challenging setback when a fire impacted their business. But instead of giving up, she found a new path and launched Lunita Planners in January 2023 from her cozy studio at Mainframe Studios in Des Moines, IA.

    Bilingual in Spanish and English, Lunita blends her Colombian heritage into her designs, creating functional and charming stationery products like planners, art journals, notepads, mini-books and calendars. Each piece is made with love, starting as unique digital designs and printed on premium materials, then hand-bound in her studio.

    Lunita’s work has been featured locally and loved by stationery fans, and she continues to inspire others through workshops and her involvement in the community. Whether it's at her studio, local events, or through her online shop, Lunita’s mission is simple: to make organization fun and efficient!
